The area around the villa

Searenity villa is located in the seaside resort of Loutraki overlooking the entrance of Souda bay and next to the well known beach of Marathi while the town of Chania is located only 16 km away and a number of breathtaking beaches a short drive away.

Loutraki has an organized beach only 350 meters away from the villa with fine sand and crystal clear shallow waters, it is very well organized and provides all the common touristic amenities such as a tavern and beach bar and it is also one of the main beaches which you can choose when the weather is windy as you will never see any waves there.

The surrounding area gives you the feeling that you are in the total nature but at the same time it is very close to the living areas. The closest living area to the villas is the small traditional village of Sternes, 3 km away from the villa. In Sternes village you will be able to find some shops such as a mini market, bakery, butcher and pharmacy. More shops can be found in Kounoupidiana (11 km away) which is the largest village of Akrotiri peninsula.

The villa’s location is ideal for one more reason: its 10 minutes proximity to the main national road, thus making excursions around Crete a very easy thing to do. Regarding Akrotiri area, there are some remarkable historical monuments, monasteries and churches, caves, the famous tombs of Venizelos and many places with archaeological interests. In addition, if you are looking for privileges that only a big city can offer, then Chania town is 8 km away and offers unique facilities and a wide variety of entertainment
